Welcome
Welcome to Gallen Counseling! I am so glad you are here. Maybe you’re here because you feel like your anxiety has gotten out of control lately, or that you can’t stop yourself from scrolling through the news or social media when you get home. Maybe you’re here because you feel yourself pulling away from the people and the things you love, or that you cry a lot easier these days. Maybe you found me because you’ve had a lot of changes, and it’s beginning to feel overwhelming. Maybe you just need a place to process the things that happen in your day to day life, and you want somewhere where you don’t feel like you have to edit what you’re going to say. Whatever brought you to my practice, I am so proud of you. It’s not always easy to do something for ourselves, and this is an incredible first step. I hope you know I will always prioritize your needs, your voice, and your goals. I believe therapy is a place where I get to partner with my clients, to help them discover their strengths, and move closer to where and who they would like to be - I can’t wait to get started on your journey.

What to Expect
In any session, you can expect a safe, calm, authentic space where you can sort through your thoughts, feelings, and stressors. Kerri provides unbiased, compassionate support. She believes in the power of processing - focusing not only on skills to help clients feel or cope differently, but believes there is power in finding ways to process our stories so we can control how they impact us. She has training in multiple modalities, giving her the ability to adjust to meet clients where they are, and in what they need for their healing journey.
